Andrus Valma
CEO of Mobire
Futurist's approach to organizing the strategy day was very systematic. Employees were briefed on the topics before the event and everyone was personally involved during the strategy day. Later, we received a written summary and suggestions for moving forward for each of the topics discussed. As a follow-up, several ideas received at the strategy day are already in the works.

Virge Suursoo
TREV-2 Group HR Manager
The strategy day was well-structured from start to finish. The preparation was thorough and the approach to the entire process was clear and constructive. The professional yet very direct manner created an open and safe atmosphere for discussions, where everyone had the opportunity to share their ideas. I liked that the discussions were clearly guided and the thoughts were visually structured. This helped us create a strong platform from which to move forward with our thoughts.

Sandra Happiness
City of Tartu, Head of Digital Development
The Strategy Day gave us the knowledge that we see similar challenges and opportunities to make our work more effective as our colleagues. It also helped improve cooperation, as we gained a better understanding of each other's roles, tasks and challenges, and this was thanks to the chosen method, i.e. everyone had a chance to have a say. Participating in the Strategy Day and its results helped us plan our next activities to achieve our larger goals.

Piret Sepp
CEO of Toosikannu Holiday Center
The Strategy Day gave our leadership team a common thinking and understanding of the company's strategy change and direction for all area leaders. As a leader, it supported the implementation of all further necessary changes with the entire team. For the entire team, it was certainly also a day of shared vision and inspiration, where they saw what kind of change they could help implement.

STEP 1
Preliminary analysis
We will review the current situation and map out the challenge. We will hold preparatory meetings with the team and design the final workshop format.
STEP 2
Strategy Day
We conduct a strategy workshop where, through guided co-creation, we reach a clearly agreed-upon goal with the team.
STEP 3
Follow-up analysis and summary
We will conduct a follow-up analysis and summary of the workshop results and share recommendations for follow-up activities.
When to organize a strategy day?
A strategy day is a valuable leadership tool for leaders and teams. It's a moment when you and your team can step aside from operational work, look at the big picture together, set a focus, or reflect on how the team is actually doing.
A strategy day is useful when:
there have been or are changes taking place in the team or new directions are ahead,
the team needs a common understanding of goals and priorities,
focus tends to fade, it is necessary to create clarity and better alignment,
the organization has grown or restructured rapidly,
a specific area (e.g. product, marketing, personnel) needs its own strategy,
desire to evaluate the progress made so far and agree on next steps.
It's not just important when the strategy day takes place, but how to do it – inclusively, with a clear goal, and in a way that the results have a real impact. Read more here, how to increase the impact of your strategy day?
